Living, Imperfect, Always Growing

The year is 1996. Our garden is a bare lot—no fences, no plants, and a semi-developed park behind us.

Fast-forward 30 years.

Today, that once-empty lot is home to a pond that welcomes songbirds in summer, and ducks and cobra chickens in spring. We have added a pergola and slate patio, along with a deck and stone patio, creating places that allow us to truly live in the garden.

The trees have matured. The shrubs and perennials have filled in. Every part of the garden holds a history and memories of time spent with family and friends.

Over the years, our garden has taught us adaptability, humility, and joy.

It is living, imperfect, and always striving to be better than it was last year—somewhat like the gardeners.

This website is our garden path.

Here, we share the plants we love, the lessons we have learned, and the gardens and gardeners who inspire us.

So grab a beer, pour a glass of wine, or brew a cup of coffee, and join us on the adventure.
